Meaningful Beauty - Starter Kit Purchase Review from Dallas, Texas

5.0
Details
I just received mine today. So far my credit card has not been overcharged and I received as promised within 5 days yayyy! I'm excited to try and will report back in 30 days. I noticed many reviews expressed you have to use everyday to see results..well that is true of everything & anything you use regarding skincare! Also I currently use another brand that is more than $45 for day cream alone so I am trying this in hopes to save $$$. Any trip to Walgreen's for olay day & night moisturizer will cost more than $40! So I hope I see results & if I do it is an excellent deal! See you in 30 y'all.:)

Meaningful Beauty - MB Keeps Trying to Take My Money Even After I Closed My Account

When I originally ordered Meaningful Beauty products, I understood that it was a subscription. I tried the products for a while, and then eventually decided that I wanted to discontinue my subscription. I called to cancel my account. At that time, I was told that I had to pay the remaining $60 for products I had already shipped. I said that was fine, and I paid the amount. At that time, I asked the customer service representative to send me an email confirming the cancellation of my account. She assured me that she would send the email immediately, but she never did. Two months later, I got a bill from MB stating that my account was two months overdue. I called, explained that I had closed my account, and that I had paid the balance on the account 2 months ago. The new customer service representative stated that I had been misinformed by the previous representative, and that I still owed $32 on the account. Again, I paid the balance, and again, asked that the representative send me an email confirming the closing of my account. This representative also failed to send the requested email, after assuring me that he would. Today, I received an email from MB with a "friendly reminder" that I owe $32 on my account! I am at a loss as to what to do. I have tried calling and speaking to two different representatives. I have emailed. I find it incredibly frustrating that they seem to ignore my requests to close my account after promising to honor them. Fortunately, my bank has issued me a new card due to the Target fiasco, and therefore, MB does not have the ability to access my accounts anymore. I worry, however, that the fake unpaid bill will show up on my credit report.

Meaningful Beauty - They closed my account and tell me they are not "allowed" to tell me why.

I have been using products for a couple of years and actually like them; however, I have always had trouble getting shipments. I have had to call every time to get them to send a new shipment. This last time I was told my account had been closed and they were not "allowed" to tell me why. I asked for a supervisor and was told that person could not tell me either. This worries me as I am afraid it is affecting my credit score. I am going to try again tomorrow to get some answers. Why would they not be "allowed" to tell me?

Meaningful Beauty 60 day refund takes 4-6 weeks to process!

I returned a 90 day shipment of Meaningful Beauty products because the 90 day quantity is not three times the quantity of the 30 day order, and I ran out before even 60 days passed. The first time this happened, I was polite and called the company, and they provided some small samples to get me through, but the more I looked into it, they were ripping people off because the 90 day quantity for all products was not equal to 3 times the 30 day amount even though the cost was 3 times the 30 day amount. So, I asked for a refund. I was told I had to pay my own postage to return the product, and I had to ask for a street address to get confirmation of delivery because I chose to ship UPS because they will give confirmation without additional charge. Then, I called after they had had the unused and empty product back for a week, and they said, oh, you are too early, it takes 4-6 weeks to get a refund, something they certainly never revealed in all their wonderful advertising. I am considering a class action suit, by the way.

Meaningful Beauty - 90 day supply is not 3 times 30 day supply

90 day supply runs out of many products around 50-60 days, and when you call these guys, they just say you should use less!! Ridculous! This is definitely deceptive advertising. This may even be a complete fraud. If you take the amount of each product in the 30 day supply and multiply it by 3, it is much much more than what is provided in the 90 day supply, but the 90 day cost IS 3 times the 30 day cost. THIS IS A RIPOFF!!!!!!! And, the products are not better than what you get at the drugstore. Refunds take 4-6 weeks, so I am not sure I will even get that. And, I had to pay return postage.

Meaningful Beauty is a scam!

Meaningful beauty is horrible!!!!! On numerous occasions I tried to cancel my account (which I never received the account number). I had to cancel my credit card & informed them about Meaningful Beauty. This company will do & say anything to take your money! DO NOT sign up with this company! It is a huge scam!!!!!! Seriously!!!! They kept telling me to call tomorrow to cancel my account. Oh wait, first they said I was not on their system, yet my credit card was charged! I called visa in informed them! The only way to fully avoid the charges is to cancel your credit card! This company has sooo many negative reviews! Do your research first people! :)

Meaningful Beauty Bad Service and Cancellation

Okay ladies, I have read some of these reviews and I have to say this....on the page where you order it DOES state you will be put on auto ship. As for the vitamins someone complained about, if you click 'yes' you want the free trial bottle, it also states you will be put auto ship and shows the dollar amount. So, can only be mad at yourself if you did not read the details. HOWEVER!! They are the WORST for customer service. They do keep charging your card after you cancel, they sent me another shipment after I cancelled and would not reimburse my shipping charge to send it back. I wont waste time on details, but I would recommend using a credit card not debit card because at least that way if they charge you wrong you can dispute it with your credit card company.

When ordering online, a good credit card company can be your best friend. Am Ex is incredible at researching the problem and defending its customers.

Meaningful Beauty

Though I can not speak on the product itself, for I have yet to receive the product. I can speak on their billing department. I ordered Meaningful Beauty on 2/16/2012 and since then, my credit card has been charged on 4 different occasions!! for only 1 order!! I have telephoned customer service each and every time only to be told that my account will be credited at midnight that night, and if not I should could it more time then maybe telephone back if my credit card is not credited. To date I have telephoned on Thursday, Sunday, Monday Wednesday, and again today Thursday Feb. 23, 2012. !!

Meaningful Beauty - Meaninful Beauty Scam

I ordered a one-time shipment to give as a Christmas present; imagine my surprise to receive another shipment even though I clearly requested a 30 day supply ONLY. This shipment included an invoice outlining my INSTALLMENT Plan of 3 shipments with a notation that a charge had already been made on the first one! What a scam. Even if I wanted to get more of this product I certainly would not now and would never recommend anyone ordering it online. They certainly lost potential customers. I called and cancelled this account and they tried to say they would just put it on 'hold' - absolutely NOT. By the way, this same exact thing happened with Chaz Dean Wen Hair Care - and while looking at the 'invoices' I realized the same company bills and does customer service for both. DON"T ORDER THAT EITHER.

Meaningful Beauty - Meaninful Beauty Order

I ordered Meaninful Beauty for a Christmas present - I made sure I selected the option for a 30-day supply. Imagine my surprise to receive anothe shipment along with an invoice stating that an amount had been 'charged' to my account and lining out my installment plan of 3 shipments and the amount for the 3 shipments! I called the customer service to cancel this service and by the way, the same thing happened wih the Chaz Dean Wen Hair Care - as I was looking at the invoices I realized they were identical with the exception of the logo!! I have called both companies today and got EXACTLY the same message, same optons, exactly. I will never order either of these products again.
