I did some resarch on Cindy Crawford's Meaningful beauty skin care line and dug up some dirt. She is lying about how she maintains a youthful appearance (no surprise there), and the doctor treats her with BOTOX, collagen and other cosmetic procedures. In her own words, she explains that she has done this for years, since "creams" can only do so much. So folks, don't let her (or Valerie) fool you for a minute. They do not use the products they are trying to sell US in late-night infomercials. Greed strikes again.

Here are some things that were learned:

1. Most reviews of this line were negative. Highly negative. People wrote some nasty, unpleasant things. I have found that most will not take the time to do that unless they are mad. These women sounded mad! They talked about rashes, irritated skin, no results, problems with canceling membership, how expensive the products were and that they didn’t believe Cindy Crawford used the products.

2. On the infomercials (and website) they talk about this French "melon" that is the key ingredient to the line. Well, this ingredient is pretty far down on the list, which means it can’t be very effective. And, trying to find more information about this wonder melon was not easy. Makes me think that they just picked a fruit and decided that was what they would tell people was special.

3. These are considered over-the-counter (OTC) products and that means they will not have the effective ingredients as the active ingredients. Marketing and packaging is where the money is spent so you get less of the important stuff needed to treat and fix the skin. You will never convince me that you have to spend a fortune to have good skin. Using the right products for YOUR skin with the right ingredients is all you need.

4. Cindy Crawford said verbatim (can be seen on YouTube), "Im not going to lie to myself. Past a certain age, creams work on the texture of your skin but, in order to restore elasticity, all I can really count on is vitamin injections, Botox and collagen… I have a very simple, healthy life, which works miracles. I drink a lot of water, watch what I eat and exercise. But I owe the quality of my skin to my cosmetic surgeon."

Disappointing Cindy.

I think it’s important to know the truth.

Monetary Loss: $888.

Like any product some people it doesn't work but my mother has used it for years and loves. Online you could find people complaining about paper.

wow! I was planning on trying this product, now I am not so sure I will because of all reviews I read on not being able to cancel the order, I spoke with someone at Meaningful Beauty the other day and was told they don't keep sending out orders, you have to place an order each month or whenever you needed more product....was she lying to be. Or are these ladies just mad that the products didn't work

She was lying! They send out the product even AFTER you send the product BACK to them and want to cancel!!

It's so bogus. Don't order this crud - I have a friend who is still trying to stop getting the product and she lost over 300 dollars so far. The product is nothing but a moisturizer you can buy at any pharmacy.

I hope more people don't get ripped off. :(
