Guthy Renker, thank you

I just spoke with a Representative from Guthy Renker and she was so kind and helpful. I was very upset because my credit card has been charged close to $200.00. I thought the guy who took my order was honest, and he was not. HONESTY is always the best way for a company to succeed and the way he portrayed himself today, showed me that some of these folks taking your important information cannot be trusted. I support informercials, and want to make sure that Guthy Renker is associated with honesty! I have read all of the complaints and realize there are some people who take these phones should not be working in this line of business! However, Guthy Renker is a great company who have given a lot folks a big start, but please be warned, there are people working for you, I considered as being dishonest and dangerous to the informercial success! Thank you Liz, you are a very kind and sweet person. Thank God that Guthy Renker has you! I will continue to support and shop informercial products because of Liz's help! Please look into these folks doing the illegal transactions. The product are great, but the folks handling my private information are "diseased," and trust me, they can put you out of business quick.

Lie and steal your money and act like they did nothing wrong

This company aweful in every sense of the word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please save yourself a headache by avoiding this scam of a company. I cancelled my order yet, they still charged my card. I had to cancell my bank card so they could stop going into my account. I wish I read about these complaints before calling the company. I do not think Crawford knows what this company is doing or does she even care since the money is soooo sweet!!! Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so pissed that I cannot evern continue writing. Buyers beware!!!!!!! After reading others complaint it breaks my heart to know that I am not alone.

Meaningful Beauty has no customer service.

I was on hold for over five minutes after calling their customer service number to cancel a standing order, never did get to talk to anyone. Also, the bottles were easily broken in shipment and the product is not the quality I expected. The night cream smells rancid and causes my skin to sting and become red and itchy. I have tried the online customer service, but, have not had any response yet. I would advise women not to fall for this scam, and do not give them your credit card number. Could someone get a response from Cindy Crawford herself on this terrible company?

The Meaningfull beauty is big mess company, the customer service doesn't even know what they are talking about...and they charge always your credit card, without no reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been over 3 months i don't order nothing and this morning they charge me 47dollar and another 39.99 dollars..and i have to stop my credit card and block the transation!!!!!!!!

Meaningful Beauty

I received shipment for $39 dollars and all products were trial sizes. The special price to repleninsh order with ful size bottles is almost $170. The advertisement does not show the sizes on the bottles ironically. I will probably agree with one of my cohorts that the inside contents are smaller than the bottle size when I use them. I was proactive and told my credit card company not to accept anymore orders from the company. Immediately cancelled account with sender of products. I will use the products and be a pain in the butt and return them empty for a full refund.

sent it back at no charge. wainting for credit now. scms for sure.

call your credit card company as thye might cancel the charge or disallow anymore chges from the seller. good luck

Yes, these guys are real scammers. Tried to cancel order today that I placed yesterday.

"You're not in the system yet", I was told....call back in 2-3- days. I said, by then it will be already shipped (their M O). Who does business like this? Look at how many hits these sites have.....they are scamming everyone!

Cindy Crawford should be ashamed of herself. Sorry I "fell" for this.

Cancelled my order.still billed me

this company needs to be pulled off the air.They are scamming people.I have learned my lesson.I wont order anything else off tv.This means hsn Qvc.bad taste.I ordered meaniful beauty,went to my dr.was advised not to use anything other than what i was using.cancelled order before the product could have been shipped out.They sent it anyway.I returned it right away.They billed my card anyway.Called customer service at meaniful beauty.A guy name bert said they coud email me in a couple of days to show i had cancelled.First of all it dont take two days to email and I had already cancelled long before feb 7 2011.Dont buy from these people.

Not one person explaining why it was they didn't like the product. Didn't even try it 30 days...I want to knw if there is anyone who has tried it for 30 days and what results they say.

What works for one may not work for all. It worked for Cindy so it must work for some people.

Same experience. Cancelled the next day and three days later received a shipping confirmation.

Was told that the product had already been shipped and that they couldn't recall it.

Got passed from person to person and no final resolution. Truly disappointing.

Meaningful Beauty is a bunch of fake junk!

I personally can't believe someone of Cindy Crawford's status would endorse a rip off like this Meaningful Beauty. Oh yeah, they pay her to use her name and use her in the infomercial on the mess, but it is a ripoff deluxe and I want my money back and I bet I get it. I won't stop until I do. They get you on the phone and tell you that "Cindy recommends this and Cindy recommends that" and before you know it if you are not vigilent you've raked up these huge charges. Thank goodness I knew what to expect when I called so I told them to save it for someone else, I just want the advertised special and NOTHING else. They kept on and on though ( they MUST be paid commission is all I can think of because these little ninnies they have taking and processing the orders for Cindy Crawford herself since Cindy is so busy. OK, now THIS is what's going to even *** YOU off. I wanted to use some of the so-called "Glowing Serum" last night. I pumped and pumped and nothing came out so I resigned myself to the fact that it was all gone. Then I got to thinking....there should be NO way this is all gone already. The more I thought about it the more sure I was. I then proceeded to take the cap off of the pump bottle...you know, it's the little small bottle. I had to get a pair of needle nose pliers to get the little tip off of the bottle. People, I couldn't believe what I saw when I got everything off of the top of the bottle. I looked down into the bottle to see if there was enoug h for me to get a cotton tipped applicator inside and get some more of the product out. The bottle was maybe 3/4 fake people. There was a ledge like bottom inside that covered the diameter about 3/4 of the way from the bottom of the container. They are ripping people off by giving them s tiny amount of product and from the size of the bottle it makes you think you are getting a travel sized bottle. I'm sure a lot of people do not take the tip off of that bottle and look down into it. I just can't believe they thought they could get by with doing that indefini tely and people wouldn't get wise??? Oh and by the way, Gunthy-Rinker"when you call to see about ordering JUST the "Glowing Serum" they say you can't order it...you have to order the WHOLE kit to get that one little bottle of "Glowing Serum". I will NEVER EVER order anything like this again from television and if I can't see if before I buy it I'm running!

Can't get a single order correct

While I like the product line, their customer service is AWFUL. When I order online and they screw up an order, for example, they mail me products I didn't order or an entire duplicate order, and I return it, THEY CANCEL MY ACCOUNT. When I try to reinstate it, they tell me they can't, except to start all over. So I did that. But then they screw up again. So after the third return, and their third cancellation of my account, I AM DONE. This last time I submitted an order for 5 items to be shipped immediately; I get an email confirmation but after waiting the 2-3 week lag time (that's what they call immediate), I find out my account had been cancelled. RIDICULOUS.

Meaningful Beauty which is sponsered by Cindy Crawford, has in my opinion a good product, BUT......

I used Meaningful Beauty a product endorsed by Cindy Crawford. The product worked well. But the company will continue taking money from your account without your consent. I was asked if I wanted a one time purchase or continued shipments. I stated that I wanted it one time, as I did not know if I would like the product. Much to my surprise a second shipment arrived, upon looking at the invoice, I found that almost $90.00 was stolen from my account. I will now have to pursue this matter, as customer service was unwilling to refund my money.

Hi! I am Italian, living temporarily in Canada.

I would like to buy this product..but after your complaints I prefer not to do it. I read all your comments and I can't help but wonder how this "shipping and order" mistakes happens so often? Isn't there a way to protect customers from these types of repeated mistakes by the custmer service who takes the order? Isn't there another way to buy the product in order to avoid to deal with these types of "willing errors" by the customers service?

Customer Service is confused

I ordered that starter kit, then called to customize my order and send it to me later. When I never received it, they told me no order was placed but they were scheduled to send me another starter kit. So I canceled that kit and tried to order something else. Called a few days later and BOTH orders were canceled. So I ordered again, they said it would take 24 hours to process. So I called the next day to confirm my order. Still NO order, she told me it has to take 24 hours, I said YEAH, my order was placed 24 hours AGO, Whats up with that!!!! So NVM!!! Customer service is confused!!

Meaningful beauty fraud !!!!

I orded meaningful beauty yesterday, sunday. they kept trying to get me to buy so many other things that "cindy recommends" and I was very clear that I only wanted the 39.94 order I called in about. I just called my bank and they-meaninful beaty- took out $200.00. I called about it and meaningfulb. said sorry, it's too early for us to have your account information, you'll have to call us back next week. They took out $200. I am so pissed! So now im out $200, Im posting fraud on it with the bank and im supposed to get it back in a few days while the fraud dept. deals with meaningful whatever, I can't even say the name.

Meaningful Beauty - Horrible Customer Serv

I placed one order of skin care products. However, customer service is so poorly trained and uneducated that I received two orders. I returned the second package well over one month ago, but cust serv claims they haven't received it yet!! It was returned to the Etobicoke office in Ontario, Canada. Cust Serv said I have surpassed the 90 day money-back guarantee. In other words I have to pay for something I never ordered, returned back to Meaningful Beauty and will never use!! I will never ever order anything from Meaningful Beauty- Guthy Renker again!! One Pissed off Customer!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. I also placed an order, received it, then customized my order only to find out that they never received my 2ed order but wanted to charge me for the original order AGAIN.

That I canceled when I reordered. I can say that people need to be ON TOP of there order and call every day. cause the customer service people don't know what the H*** they are doing. I'm disappointed because I wanted it.

But Do Not Trust them with my Money account!!! :( :(

Well today I saw a commercial for it and ordered it. I then read these reviews and called back to cancel my order only 15 minutes later, the woman said I wasn't in the system I would have to wait 2 days to cancel.

I called back once more and got the same response. I then a few hours later checked my credit card and saw they had charged me! I called back and the woman said I WAS in fact in the system but that I had placed the order THREE days prior and therefor it was being shipped and couldn't be cancelled. When I explained to her that I had ordered it this morning and it was impossible that I had ordered it Friday she said oh well there are TWO different orders showing now that ur being charged for!!

They told me that all I could do was send the package back once i received it. I fought with around 10 people including supervisors and they all just threw their hands in the air and said well it says you ordered it three days ago you'll just have to send it back.

When i asked for them to find the phone calls to see that i did indeed order this morning the woman told me that would be close to impossible and LAUGHED at me and said that they were not MY phone calls and I could get a lawyer if I wanted them. I have never written a review online before but this was the worstttttttt experience I have ever encountered in my life and I feel people should be aware of these outrageous antics!!

I ordered the products for my mom, with the expectation that I was only going to be charged $39.95 or I believe even less for a number of products when they had a promotion with the infomercial. However, once we received the package there were no promotional prices applied.

I was charged over $100 plus taxes. Even then I figured well okay, I'll let my mom try the products and if she likes it we'll go from there. BUT right after the first use, she experienced an allergic reaction to it and we returned the products.

Luckily enough, they did return the money back onto the credit card. Besides, Cindy uses botox anyways, so her whole story how she uses the products to stay young is bs.

I understand your frustration in trying to cancel your order with a second party shipper. But how does this reflect on the skin care products?

I'm looking up reviews on how her products work-products your reviewing as rap but yet never tried. So I'm having to sort through *** reviews to find out about this product. Reviews I'm doin BEFORE I choose to buy. It's is only your fault for not doing before you ordered.

So plead save the anger for yourself. You are protected with crarge back options from your credit card company so there was no reason to spend all that time fighting on the phone.

Refuse the package and call your CC company. Either your review is bogus or your just an uneducated buyer.

Ordered the products off a info commercial, highly love Cindy Crawford n trusted her.So placed order, cust service never just sells you what you want. So i purchased the special received my products ecstatic love the products waited for second shipment charged my credit card ok.

Never received my order. Now seen my credit card charged again third time so I call n inquire never recieved my second order n that theycharged my card different amount for third shipment.

I asked for Refund stip chargibg my account they said in regard that they apologize they will send me an affadavit out. NOT SATISFIED WITH MY RUN AROUND CALL.

I ordered a Meaningful Beauty kit for my daughter and me. What is so wonderful about Cindy's company is that these products keep appearing at ones doorstep without asking.

Who cares if you really like need, or want the product, may be allergic to it etc...,I must not have read the fine print so cleverly disquised when I first ordered to know that I was agreeing to these automatic shipments and billings.

And it costs $10.14 to return the boxes of stuff to Iowa via the post office. Shoulda known, silly me.

Poor Customer Service response and poor return policy

I had been using the products for 8 months when I had a bout with contact dermatitis, per my dermatologist's diagnoses. I stop using the cleanser and moisturizer 1 immediately. After 2 months time I tried the products again, only to have the same reaction. Imagine my disillusionment when I contacted customer service and the representative did not seem the least bit interested. I asked if I could return all the unused products that I had and was told that I could not return the products because it was past the 90 return policy. I commented to her what a waste it is for me to throw unwrapped, unopened product into the garbage. She told me that they did the same when they received returns.WOW! Then she went on to read her prepared propaganda, when I asked her to stop so that I could ask another question she kept on reading. At this point I hung up feeling very frustrated, I certainly would not want my name associated with a company that presented themselves in such an uncaring manner. To make things even more frustrating, I had called over a month ago to ask to have my shipments delayed while I tried to figure out what was going on with my skin, during that conversation I even explained to the customer rep what was happening. I guess live and learn. Better to shop locally so that one receives better customer service.

I had the exact same experience! I cancelled online and then called to be sure.

They went ahead and shipped another shipment the next week. I returned it, and called to verify they received it. They kept charging me then claimed they never received the return.

They taught me: Don't trust online sales with automatic shipping! EVER!

Customer Service Agents are not helpful OR nice once you tell them that you returned the product and you are waiting on your refund. They give you a song and dance about how long it takes, (I believe they said ) up to ten weeks, that would be PAST the 60 days money back guarantee right!!!!

I better get my oney back or I will tell every website I can think of how they are! Guess I will have to get a new credit card to keep the payment from coming out!!!

I only had this product one week and I already feel as if my skin was burnt by the sun. I rarely go out during the day and I am very upset about this.

The first 2 days it was alright but a few days later my skin became dry hot and felt i aged 50 yrs and I am only 26yrs old. I wanted to get this product to help minimize the pores and help. As it turns out it doesnt do anything but tighten my skin and make it red and hot. I am sending it back 2morrow, I hope they dont' give me a hard time as the other ladies on here.

If they do they will have the fight of their life with me. I am sticking to Olay at least it doesnt dry my skin out and make it red.

I had a reaction to the product, so returned it within the 60 days. I paid the shipping.

When I did not get the refund, I called them and they admitted that they had received the product. They said that they had received it approx. 3 weeks after the date I mailed it and that it was not within the 60 days. IE.

too bad, tough luck. HOWEVER, I had a post office receipt showing the postage and mailing on the correct date, so I told the rep and she said to prove it (not thinkin that I could). So, I asked for the fax number. I called back a week or so later when I had the receipt in hand and was ready to fax.

I was at a different location so did not have the number.

I called them again and talked to a man and explained the situation. He admitted that they ALWAYS refuse to refund the money unless you have proof of mailing and give it to them!

This company is a joke! Reps need more training on the product.

I have to take time out of my day to continually check on my order. I have been continuously doubled billed. Now after placing a huge order I have called to find out after a month with no product where it is.I was told my account has been closed and I will have to open a new one, yet they still have my credit card on file!

I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and I am warning all new customer that read this the product is full of junk fillers and is more hype than you know! FYI...I'm a chemist!

Meaningful Beauty Refuses refund

This is the worst company to deal with. I tried the product and within a week my face burned and turned red it lasted about a month. I cancelled the product but they still sent it and continued to charge me even though I returned it. I tried to contact customer service but they do not answer the phone. The only way they will answer is if you say "ordering new product" Think twice before you order this product. It's a scam they want to continue to send product to you and take your money even if you cancel.

You should call Guthy Renker directly at their Corporate Offices at (760) 773-**** and ask for Customer Relations, and they will be able to assist you. they were super nice, took care of the $ issues n even implied that some reps would be let go! worth a shot!!!

When I heard absolutley nothing from the company about my refund (gave them 1 mo to get it to me) I shot off an email. This product burned my face sooooo bad!! I returned the product in my 90 day return period, but never saw my refund.

When I contacted customer service, i was informed that I may returned it in the 90 day period but it takes 4-8 weeks for them to process it and if that for to six weeks extended over my 90days then I would not get my refund!

WTH, soooo techincally the return period is 30 days! This was such a waste of money and time!

I agree whole heartly with you Tracy! I called and followed instructions returning unused, sealed product middle of April, still no credit.

Customer Service is the worse they lie, give out bogus information. I was buying double shipments one for myself and one for my sister. She was highly allergic therefore I called and sent back over 300.00 in product and have been treated with the most disrespect from customer service including talking to Danielle this morning.

If this is not settle within a week I am contacting the lawyer, and will go to small claims court. This is a TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!

I have headaches from certain smells.This product irritated me when I opened the first one.

So I returned them unused on March 26th, Never heard or recieved refund. It is now May 18th.

I cancelled my order and had no problem there. The number on your bill always gets me to a rep, and I've called several times.

The issue is that I still haven't gotten my credit for the return that they received in hand on April 4th and it's now May 12th. It takes far too long to get your money back, and at this date, they can't even verify for me that they recieved my return (although I have proof of delivery and highly recommend that if you return product to them given the delay on refunds). I'm now totally disappointed with the whole experience and ready to sell the suplus of this stuff that is under my desk on ebay to make back a part of my money.

I wouldn't recommend it. Olay Definity works great for a fraction of the cost and you can pick it up locally whenever you need it.

You may not have canceled by the time your second kit was processing. If you tell them you had a reaction they will refund you.

It's policy. Their is an extremely high call volume so sometimes it takes a while to get through.

It took 5 weeks for me to receive my order!

I saw the informercial, got excited and called to place my order. After waiting and waiting for it to arrive I called the company to find out why I had not yet received my order. They could not find the shipping number, therefore could not trace the package, made up excuses about it being because of the weather, and then told me it should be arriving any day fed-ex. Two more weeks go by and I still do not get my product- of course they still bill me for it! I called again only to get the same answer again. I finally get it a week later IN THE MAIL not Fed-Ex. THEY LIE!!!
