THEY STEAL MY MONEY | Meaningful Beauty review from Halifax, Nova Scotia

I'm an italian woman who was in Canada for holidays, I saw the commercial of Meaningful Beauty and I decided to try it. When I received the invoice I discover that they will send me more every month, so I contacted the customer service to cancel them, first by email. After a while I saw that they charged my account, so I phoned to complain and the woman said that everything would be canceled. Now I am in Italy and I just discover that they keep charging my bank account and I don't know how to stop them. Could somebody help me? Do I need a lawyer? Thanks to who will help me in some way.

What the Italian woman needs to do is cancel her form of payment, if it's a debit card cancel it, if it's by bank draft, cancel the account and open up another one!!! That will stop you lying, thieving pieces of ***!!

You won't get another dime from her then!! Or she can file fraud charges with her bank, usually they will refund the money to your account while they investigate!! And she WILL WIN!!! Meaningful Beauty needs to be shut down, thank God I read this site before I placed an order with you thieves!!

I have stuck it to other comanies like this in the past, you all had better be glad I never ordered from you!! There would be a lawsuit pending if I had!! And any positive reviews are obviously being written by this company, or Cindy Crawford's family!! And Cindy looks like an old hag in my opinion!!

She's lost her looks and is washed up!! That's why she has stooped low enough to deal with this company, and doesn't care about people being ripped off!! Also, everytime I see the farce of a commercial for Meaningful beauty, I have to laugh at the magic melons being in a "secluded" field in France!! LOL What a joke!!

And Cindy gets the "super secret info we don't get", LMAO Sure hasn't helped her keep her looks! Can u say photo retouching??

Hahahaha!!! ;P

Meaningful Beauty is a scam.

Do not even bother ordering this product. The chemical that comes from the "magical french melon" breaks down as soon as it comes in contact with oxygen. You're paying more money for something that is not present within the system. I ordered meaningful beauty on August 30th 2013 (within the order there is a place where you can write a note. The note I wrote was telling them not to charge me for the 90-day supply unless I call them and order it because I'd like a chance to try the product first with no obligations...), I was billed $39.99. But then the payment was put back into my account on September 6th 2013, $45.19 was then taken out on the same day. I called and cancelled after my 30-day basic supply because the face wash dries out your face, the night cream is greasy and comes off in chunks, the eye cream doesn't even work, and the day cream made me break out... the only thing I liked was the clay face mask but it only came in the 30-day supply apparently. The account was not cancelled, I was billed $68.55 on October 1st 2013 for the 90-day kit. So I called and cancelled AGAIN. About a month later I started receiving mail that said I owed them $79.98... Even though I didn't order anything else... So I called and cancelled in November because I thought they were going to send me another package. The girl on the phone didn't give me any information regarding why I was charged again. She just said "We're terribly sorry, I've cancelled your account. Thank you so much have a nice day." I continued to receive mail threatening me to pay or be contacted by collections. So I sent about ten different emails, one for every piece of mail with absolutely no responses. Customer service is apparently non-existent. I should note... I have Severe Social Anxiety so talking on the phone is really difficult for me, I prefer to contact companies through email if I'm having a problem or a question. Every single other company I have ever e-mailed contacted me back via e-mail within 1-week. So I finally built up the courage and called them today (April 29th 2014) and here they inform me for the first time that they do everything in three "easy" payments.... uh what? Three payments of 68.55? That's $205!!!! I don't think they have a single kit that costs $205. The 90-day supply costs $119... Even two payments of $68.55 would be $137.10 But I got charged $68.55 and on top of that they want $79.98, that equals $148.53. That is $29.53 MORE than the 90-day basic supply (which is what I ended up receiving despite cancelling three times.) The girl on the phone told me "The 90-day supply costs $149.85" When I looked at the site I found that price is for the DELUXE 90-day supply... but the sent me the 90-day BASIC supply... So I told her I wasn't informed of the "three payments" but the prices don't add up. All she said was there is nothing she can do but cancel my account because apparently it still hadn't been cancelled (no kidding). I am being forced to pay $79.98 for THEIR mistakes. I called several times to cancel, sent several e-mails, was charged for a product I did not receive and I didn't even want the product I did receive. I wasn't even informed of the 60-day return policy so now I can't get reimbursed for their mistake... I think that is a strategic move on their part. Again, I wasn't informed that I was charged for the deluxe supply (even though I only received the basic supply.) Basic supply costs $119 but I'm being charged $148.53 for the deluxe supply... which (again) I did not receive. So the girl on the phone basically told me I'm SOL. I am absolutely horrified by this experience and will be posting this complaint on as many forums as possible. This is not ok, this company needs to be shut down, they are extorting money out of people by ignoring their e-mails and attempts to cancel. AND by charging them for products the customer doesn't even receive. Not only this, but my skin still has not recovered from using their products. I still have these red, irritated marks on my face, patches of dry skin on my chin and temples, and my nose has remained a beet-red colour... my nose has never been red unless I was sick but now after using meaningful beauty... It wont go back to normal. I have spent hundreds of dollars on different creams in an attempt to correct my skin after this nightmare, nothing has worked so far. And now I'm losing hope, what if my skin never goes back to normal? My skin is still tight and it's painful to even smile. Never again will I make the mistake of ordering something from a company without reading the reviews. BUYER BEWARE!

I had the same problem with my skin. I got a really bad red rash on my face.

Come to find out, it was from the MB vitamins. It took a while for this rash to disappear. I was not at all satisfied with this product. Customer service is just as bad.

I can never understand these people when I talk to them!

How are they able to get away with this SCAM?

WOW.... I have wanted to order that stuff for the longest time and after reading the reviews it makes me sick that you have been treated like that.

contact the attorney general and consumer protection, but the attorney should be first!!! They are wonderful, they love to go after companies that treat consumers like *** and with no respect!!!!!!! They will rip 'em apart. If it was me, I would contact all the news stations where you live, most channels have investigators that will bring this out on a grand scale!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for writing the review, you saved me from a mess!!!! take care and good luck, don,t let up like most people do cuz' of course thats why they keep screwing people!!!

i WILL CK TO SEE IN A WHILE TO SEE WHAT RESULTS YOU GET. SORRY, GUESS I HAD MY HAND ON THE SHIFT BUTTON.

So *** of them. Thanks for the review.

I ordered some tea on line years ago and the same *** happened to me.

The only difference they kept charging my master card a year later! So many cons out there. I hope you get this resolved, I wrote and e-mailed and called the company I dealt with and still had to contact my MC to make sure that company could not take anymore.

This company is the worse nightmare I have to deal with, canceled my subscription cuz I never received the product, yet, they took the 3 payments for a kit I never received, call and ask for my money back in my bank account, they say I needed to wait 2 to 3 weeks, finally got my money back, thinking, this is it, well, I was wrong, they charged me again for a new shipment, why????? I cancelled the *** subscription almost two months ago, called them again and now they saying I never cancel the subscription, if I never cancel my subscription how come my phone number wasn't recognized by the automatic system???? Please, never order this ***!!!!!! Save yourself headaches and money!!!

This company deceives customers. They do not explain clearly that you are purchasing a monthly subscription and that you, the customer, will be responsible for monthly charges that will not go away until you call to cancel. Even after you cancel they continue to...

I ordered from commercial that included free brush.. | Meaningful Beauty review from Indianapolis, Indiana

and used that web address.. trymb.com/brush It took me there and I ordered. No brush arrived and when I contacted CS they told me I had to order when that commercial was on. I did ...since the brush enticed me to order. I am not getting a brush.. :( Also, their website rarely works for me. I am trying to cancel auto-ship and nothing is working on it. I've had this problem a lot. Do they do something to delay a cancellation so they can send you more product? or are they just very busy? Also, for some reason, my face is more dry since using this...I assume I am probably in the minority for that...not happy. :(

Well don't be too disappointed about not getting the brush, because it SUCKS! The minute you press it to your face, it bogs down and practically STOPS! So consider yourself lucky you didn't have to deal with the aggravation of getting a *** brush!!

I used this for years and loved it. The reason I stopped is because my husband cancelled my autoshipment.

He had no problems cancelling.

Now I'm going to reorder it again. Love this stuff.

Autoship - translated is 'We'll charge your card even after you've asked us to stop shipping!' Don't order this product!! | Meaningful Beauty review from Calgary, Alberta

It is unfortunate that these companies can freely place charges on honest individuals credit cards without reason!!! Then........you have to wait...and wait...and wait to have the charges refunded. ( Still waiting!!) I may have to cancel my card. This is fraud & it's quite unfortunate that celebrities are endorsing these methods. Allbeit the products may be fine (I still have yet to try MB - I was using my other products up first). Even if this is a great product - I wouldn't order due to their shipping practises. Terribly disappointed - where is company ethics anymore???

Bait and switch on an older disabled vet and rude too | Meaningful Beauty review from Plattsburgh, New York

ordered kit of infomercial for 119 and half price for secret code. i was very clear about this as i am on limited income. received 90 day kit with 2 more payments due. called and spoke to very nice girl- maria. i asked for supervisor and talked to rob. he would not admit mistake and i told him i had no $ to send back. i asked for return label and he said yes. i said this was bait and switch and i was vet on limited income. he did not care. i asked if there was a facebook page and he ignored my question 5 times and finally said he did not know. i get non service disability of 1035 a month and have 700 mortgage. i cannot afford this. the one time i do something for myself and i get bitten in the butt. don't trust this company and hope they leave my disability alone. i told them not to use it or i would see what could be done about them taking my money without permission. i did not sign up for the 90 day deal and i refuse to make rich people richer while i hover at poverty level and get no public assistance what so ever. carol s.
