Meaningful Beauty

Please don't make the mistake I did and order this stuff. I tried to cancel and they kept sending. I canceled again and they quit sending things but kept billing me. It is ridiculous. Not a very trustworthy or reputable company and if I was Cindy Crawford I would be ashamed to have my name linked with the company! I have never had such a bad experience with anything I have ordered before. So so disappointed. The product overall did not smell good and the neck and chest cream made me break out and itch. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

Meaningful Beauty is a scam!

Meaningful beauty is horrible!!!!! On numerous occasions I tried to cancel my account (which I never received the account number). I had to cancel my credit card & informed them about Meaningful Beauty. This company will do & say anything to take your money! DO NOT sign up with this company! It is a huge scam!!!!!! Seriously!!!! They kept telling me to call tomorrow to cancel my account. Oh wait, first they said I was not on their system, yet my credit card was charged! I called visa in informed them! The only way to fully avoid the charges is to cancel your credit card! This company has sooo many negative reviews! Do your research first people! :)

Meaningful BeaUTY -Guthy|Renker --RIPOFF Worst company EVER!!!!!

Ordered and received products and few days later was charged again. I called to cancel because I did not know I signed up for recurring billing (I did not authorize) and was told they could not stop second shipment and after I returned product, at my own expense, they would submit a refund that would take 6-8 weeks. Then two weeks later I was charged again!!!!!!!!! I called and they said I had not canceled and I went crazy and told them they stealing, just taking money out of my account whenever they feel like it. I was told today a refund has been issued but who knows if I will ever get it. I am calling bank to stop anymore withdrawls. And oh yeah, products are no better than drugstore stuff. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM

Meaningful Beauty is a scam

I ordered the starter kit less than a month ago, had 30 days to cancel if I didn't want to renew every month for $40 per month. I called within the 30 days and cancelled - they informed me that the day I called them to cancel, they had charged by card $138. With no explanation of why they did it. Now I have to call my credit card company and dispute the charge. Just a random charge of $138 to send out more product I didn't order!!! Total rip off. Cindy Crawford should be ashamed to be involved with this sham marketing.

:grin I always read other peoples comments before I order any product, but on this particular one I have considered ordering many times but I never did because I hate to put my primary credit card out there for anyone to take over and charge what they want to. It's never a good idea to give your primary credit card to anyone unless you've ordered from them before and trust them souly.

I figured meaningful beauty wasn't a good deal because who's gonna do that right! Thanks girls for the warning. I now know not to order and if I need a facial product then I will just trust what I can see.

Maybe people should contact Cindy Crawford maybe she doesn't even know what's going on. She wouldn't be the first celebrity that didn't know; take Dr. Oz as an example.

The problem here is Guenthy Renker. I have had similar problems with other companies affiliated with them.

When you want to send a money order they refuse.

They want access to your bank acct.and credit card! Its ashame as some of the products I would buy but once I hear GUENTHY RENKER --I RUN!!!

Meaningful beauty is a scam

This was probably the worse scam I fell for not only does it not work but kept sending me stuff after I canceled and charging my credit card and would not remove the charges. THEY ARE SCAMS!!! I called several times to get this problem resolved but of course you talk to several different people and everyone of them tell you something different. I truely would not recommend this to anyone. We all know Cindy Crawford has had plastic surgery to look like she does. Just a way to get violable women like me to spend our hard earned money.... melissa

Tried to return unused product

Returned full three month supply of cosmetics (unopened) tracked shipment and signature. Turned in all info to MB had numerous discussions, said they would refund in December, 6 weeks ago. Said the returns weren't processed correctly redone, etc, etc...still waiting for the return to be credited in 3 even amounts of $46.66 because their system couldn't handle full return? I have talked to sales person after sales person to no avail. I even got a call back from a supervisor that I learned didn't put the credit thru correctly! I am steaming mad. Cindy Crawford Shame On You!How can YOOU support this?

Total ripoff and charging customers b4 30 day trial is up

I ordered the free trial and they sent the product and I advised them to cancel and now charged 74.00 and shiped 90 day supply tht I have to return and they would not cancel the order. This is a flipping scam and they keep referring to this paperwork tht gave them permission. I'm absolutely shocked Cindy would do this since I'm from her hometown. I want them to stop sending me this stuff and leave my bank account alone. I now have to open a new bank account to top them. This is fraud and I want them to stop.

Meaningful Beauty IS A RIP OFF!!!!

I ordered a trial package in January based on a friend's recommendation of the product itself (which isn't bad; but it's not so special either!) I started receiving auto shipments (of which I saw no mention of while placing the initial order) of skincare and also vitamins. I accepted the first shipment of skincare and tried the additional new products that they sent, no big deal. Never tried the vitamins, but since I opened them just kept them. The next boxes arrive a couple of months later and I marked them "return to sender" unopened, and returned to the Post Office. Never have been credited for those 5 boxes of unopened product that "they never received". In 9 months, they have charged my account $962.00, of which I kept 2 boxes of auto-shipped product. I cancelled my account in June, but have had charges on my account as recently as YESTERDAY, even though I haven't opened or even received any packages in several months. When calling customer service, they had the gall to tell me that they would cancel my "vitamin" account (What the ***!! I never even ordered flippin' vitamins) but would be charging my account for one more payment. DO NOT ORDER from them!!!

Meaningful Beauty Steals Money

I saw the infomercial on Meaningful Beauty and decided to try it. I received the initial trial offer which I paid for using Paypal. After I saw that they set up a recurring payment, I called Paypal and cancelled as well as contacted Meaningful Beauty to cancel. No shipments for months, then out of the blue they send me the product. I refused delivery and I assume the post office sent back. Meaningful Beauty continues to bill me and say I owe the money even though I did not order the product. They are a huge SCAM, I guess I have no choice but to pay in order to protect my credit but this is a complete RIP OFF. I wish I would have done more research prior to ordering this product.

Same exact thing happened to me!! The are criminal.

My first order with Meaningful Beauty was around four or five years ago. I tried the product, found that my skin was just too sensitive for it, then called Guthey Renker to cancel.

I didn't owe anything more, and there didn't seem to be a problem..until a year and a half ago when I moved to a different state. Shortly after I moved, I received a bill from Guthey Renker (forwarded from my old address) stating that I owed for a recent shipment! I called them and let them know that I had not ordered from them in a couple of years, and asked that they PROVE that I did. After speaking to a couple of reps there, they told me that they automatically send new shipments if they are made aware of someone moving...WHAT?!

So...the package they "sent", that I did NOT order, was lost in between Colorado and Minnesota, never made it to my door, and they are STILL stating that I owe them!!!! I have NEVER had this happen with ANY other company EVER!

TOTAL SCAM! Anyway, I understand your frustration....unfortunately!

Meaningful Beauty Scam

I signed up for the 30 day supply plan for $39.95 on the Meaningful Beauty website and after the first month was sent the 90 day supply and was charged $150! Apparently when you accept the 30 day supply you are automatically enrolled in the 90 day supply plan at triple the cost and conveniently billed. Not to mention the send the 90 day supply on a monthly basis! Beware handing over your credit card and signing up for what you think is only $39.95. The product is not worth the $150 and doesn't last 90 days.

what is the adress to send back the product ?

I leave in mississauga

Guest

Exactly! The problem is that people DO NOT read when they buy stuff.

Everything is clearly stated in the advertisement and the first bill! Please, people, READ!!!

Guest

This is not only a horrible product (itching, irritation, red bumps all over my skin), it has even worse customer service. Even despite multiple cancellations and never opening up a second box, I continued to receive product and have my credit card billed.

I actually had to call my credit card to put in a merchant block in order to stop the continued billing.

I have never experienced this ever with any company. If I had the time, I would take legal action.

Since Jan 2012. Order receives in good and settle with check in full. Special request do not keep my credit card nos... due to a few incidents they charge my cards without permission! Recently...I call to re-order my tailor 8 items; products on Sep 6th, I call a on Sep 10, 11 to ensure my products are on they way and right address. They told me everything are in order and I should have my products by Sep 13th. Sep 13th, call they mentioned the shipment returned to sender due to my address was not available. Ask why they cannot explain. The manager told me he will reorder and send again. As I check and call them on Oct 3rd, they mentioned they cannot find my order again... they do not know why. They promised to re-order again. I told them...I am really running out of products please do something by expedite the products. No way they can do it. The same Manager promised to re-order for me again. Guest what my credit card was charge a small amount? I was shocked & call them ask why they cannot explain. Time gone by I call on Oct 17th...ask for my products. They commented no sign of my 8 items on their system. They apologize again and will re-order again...and they cannot expedite shipment. My patient run out and by Oct 27th, 2012...I do not receives my 8 products... I will bid Meaningful Beauty farewell for good...you are not the only company out there who supple face products. Do something about it ...before you lost all of them...wake up! Conclusion... nobody care & no one knows want is going on in the operation..."staff is blur... blur"! Do you know why so many company cannot make $$$, because the owner allows the agent to do whatever they want and no customer services at all & it is out of control in this case! People working in Meaningful beauty just not competent & no systems besides just charges customer card...after so many complaints in these pages ...anyone care after all!!!
