Frustrated on how difficult it is to order the product

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had an account with this company but had to cancel my account in 2016. I spoke to customer service and told them I wanted to reopen my account in 2017 and they told me all I had to do was create a new account.

I did create a new account, got into the site, and found my old account information. When I tried to order products the site told me I do not have an active account. I called customer service, the person on the other line was very difficult to understand, and I told her what the problem was. She told me that it was because I cancelled my account in 2016.

I attempted to order products and pay with paypal but was denied. She told me I could only use a charge card or write a check. I, needless to say, told her that I would have to get back to her. Why can't I use paypal and why can't I order online?

I opened my account under a new name and password but when the site comes up my old information is there and it denies me from ordering. When I call the help center I get really frustrated trying to understand and place an order. I really like how this cream makes my face feel and once I am out I am going to either order it somewhere else or just look for another cream.

I am sad to say that is not what I want to do but it seems these are the only 2 options. I wish they would accept paypal and make it easier to place an order.

If you want the product you can buy from Ulta or Sephora and you don’t have to deal with the actual mb people/auto reorder or trying to cancel

Thanks for all your reviews. I was considering ordering this product, but I will certainly not order it now.

Scammed as well!

On 1/12/2017, I ordered: Items Ordered: Quantity: Price: Meaningful Beauty® 30-Day 5-Piece Sy. BB443K 1 $39.95 Then, on 2/10/2017, I see a charge for $43.94 on my credit card for Meaningful Beauty.

I called Meaningful Beauty about this unauthorized charge and was told 'enrolled' (where did that come from?). The girl I spoke to said she would cancel my enrollment and asked me to send back to the shipment when it arrives and they would credit my card. I intend to send it back but then I got an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation which stated the following: You will not receive any new shipments. However, you may still have a balance due for the last shipment you received.

As one of the many benefits of membership, your bill was conveniently divided into three easy installments to be more budget-friendly. Below is your total balance due: You total account balance due is: $87.88 At Meaningful Beauty®, your overall satisfaction is very important to us. We want to help you get the beautiful skin you deserve.

Should you change your mind, you are invited to reactivate your account at any time by calling 1-80*-469-****. Alas, I am just another 'mark' in their scam but I feel badly for those individuals for whom this would cause financial hardship and pray that the Lord deals with this company.

they provide a product order sheet in the box the "starter" order comes in.... and in very very tiny print it tells you your enrolled in a subscription program and that it will renew every 12 weeks and bill you in three installments and a date and phone number to call to cancel. I plan on canceling tomorrow before my April 22nd deadline and I pray I don't have the same issues as everyone else on here.

On 3/01/17, they charged my account for $31.97. Again, nothing about being part of their 'budget' was in my original receipt.

I'm going to a lawyer as these deceitful swine need to be stopped.

Customer service is terrible

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I purchased this item in March and then chose not to use the products. I did not even open them because I changed my mind. Upon contacting customer service for a refund/return, it took 4 months to receive the information on how to return the product. It has now been 5 months and I still have not received my refund. I have no idea about the quality of the products since I did not even try them, but heaven help anyone who tries to use the customer service department. It is extremely slow with very poor response time. I will not purchase anything else from Meaningful Beauty again due to this.

Cancelling order

My name is Janice Cummins , I had placed the order in the name of Mechele Rice Nelson because I wanted it shipped to her address , as she was coming to Barbados and that is where I live .I would like to cancel the next order made to meaningful beauty , how do I do it ? I have seen no results whatsoever since using this product and my financial situation does not afford me this product. I had called sometime last month and spoken to a Sam and before that a Jennifer. I had told them that I needed to cancel but they said it would have been to early to do so.

What is Subscription services?

I call my bank every other day to get updated balances. I couldn't figure out what Subscription was for a charge the week before my box arrived. Why don't they call themselves meaningful beauty on the transaction roster? Why do they call their sale subscription service? Seems deceitful.

Meaningful beauty lends your credit card number to sister companies

In November 2016 I ordered a trial offer of Meaningful Beauty products. I specifically told the customer service rep that I did not want to have ANY products sent to me thereafter that I did not personally authorize.

He ASSURED me that this was not the case and this was a one time mail out and debit of my card. Pants on fire!!!! Here I am, January 2017 getting a skin care product I've never heard of whose ingredients are mostly fruits, vegetables, and mineral oil, and they charged me almost $150.00. The cost of this 0.5 oz tube of salad dressing-like material came without any invoice, so I had to call my card company to find out the cost.

There was no information about returns, just a flyer inside about this alleged skin cream whose name I've never heard of. My credit card fraud department told me that this was a common scam: the original company assures you that THEY won't send you anything else or charge your card. So they form a sister company that doesn't abide by any such restrictions. Smooth.

Apparently you have to make them promise that your name and card will not be used to create ANY new accounts and that you will not be sent any services or products either by them or by any affiliated company. If you do get them to cancel your account, make sure to get cancellation confirmation numbers FOR ALL THE COMPANIES that they have placed your name in, not just themselves. This means obtaining multiple cancellation confirmation numbers. I will be pursuing this from a legal angle if I do not get satisfaction.

It makes me ill that celebrities loan out their names (for a fee of course) to bogus companies that scam people who actually work for a living or who are on fixed incomes. Sickening. This does not paint Ms. Brinkley in a very favorable light, but I suppose it is possible that she might be unaware or simply has installed pre-arranged personal legal protection from any litigation.

Please note - this is pure conjecture based upon my experience and the experience of the other 900+ people who have complained on this site alone. I personally would not allow my reputation to be sullied in such a manner. Avoid the Meaningful Beauty trap by not placing that first order.

Had I done so I would not be in the position of having unauthorized charges on my credit card. Caveat Emptor!!!!

Meaningful Beauty - Great product but Billing is a SCAM!!!

I did not sign up for monthly shipments, I distinctly remember un-checking the box, but they sent me a 2nd "introductory kit" and set up auto-billing for $54.94 a month for 3 months for that one shipment - without my permission. I called in to cancel and they tried to convice me to stay and then said they would email me a shipping label but they actually snail-mailed a return label but I have to pay the shipping and they will hit me with a 2nd charge before I can get it back to them.

Total Scam!

Cindy Crawford you should be ashamed!! I like your product but will NEVER use it again and I will tell everyone I know and will submit reviews everywhere I can!!

Meaningful beauty is is trying to scam me out my money i think

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I think that its time some of the people that have been scammed get legal representation and go after there crooked scamming *** its crazy how someone that is like cindy crawford who has tons of money and dont need to scam people out of money. i find that she must be a greedy heartless person. i mean who does that to people it really makes a person wonder what kind of person cindy really is that she could do this to people. i would love the oppportunity to speak with her it would be nice if she could step up herself and explain why she thinks its ok to do this to people. Its not like she is starving to death and needs the money. I find it disturbing that she could take advantage of people. Im sure like me there are people out there that really cant afford these products but still find a way to be able to purchase them because they want to feel better about themselves. Then you take there money and dont ship them the products. Its terrrible to take advantage of customers like that

You need to contact the shipping company (FedEx, UPS, USPS, whoever it was).. Since you still have the box, you can easily find out. It's the shipping company's job to ensure safety of the product after it ships.

Guest

if companies refunded or sent new product to everyone who claimed their mail was stolen they'd constantly get taken advantage of. Its a common and well known scheme for these companies, so unless you can somehow prove it Im not surprised they didnt help. Its not their fault your mail was stolen, as unfortunate as that is.

Guest

When you tell people that somebody stole your mail they won't blame it on cindy

Can not get them to cancel my account...emails & phone calls do not seem to work.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Dec 2016 I sent for the trial of Meaningful Beauty...it arrived..I used it and immediately my face started burning and then it peeled. I called them on Jan 9th 2017 and cancelled my account.

They continued to send Emails and I replied on EACH one that my account should be cancelled. On April 10th 2017 I received a full box of their stuff...I called April 11th and they acted surprised. They sent a return label ..slapped it on unopened box and mailed...then on 4/28/17 I received a bill for $164.82... Called on 4/30 & asked just what do I have to do to stop shipments???

I had misplaced my credit card and luckily it was the one I used for this so they could not charge me...they shipped even knowing that the credit card wasn't working..what kind of company is this?? All the customer service I have talked to is located in the Philippines and the accents are sometimes hard to understand...

On 10/16/19 I called and was able to cancel my subscription. I cancelled because the products just did not work.

I've been using the products (cleanser, moisturizer, eye cream, night cream, etc) for more than 6 months. I used the products as directed, both morning and evening, on the insert that came with my order. My skin looks the same and my eyes are still puffy.

The woman on the phone did try to get me to pick and choose certain products, but I cut her off and firmly told her that I just want to cancel my subscription & she did. Maybe I just got lucky, because I didn't have a problem cancelling.

Guest

I tried to cancel my subscription and kept getting the run around. I asked why she wouldn’t just cancel as I asked and still did not cancel.

She extended the date of my next shipment which I did not ask for.

She gave me a discount but would never cancel. This is bull.

Guest

Please cancel future kits. I do not want any more at this time. I have no problem with products, At this time it is better to stop the auto ship Thank You Josie Greenwood

Very difficult

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I find it hard to cancel any further shipments, I've called 3 times no matter the time of day says high call volume so you can't get through, then you send e-mail and ask for return e-mail so I know they received my request to cancel and I receive nothing. I am VERY disappointed in the way they treat their customers. I'm sorry I ever placed the order. If I have to I will call credit card and cancel and also encourage everyone I know not to get mixed up in this company. They don't keep their word, If they say you can cancel at any time, they should keep that promise and make it possible to do so.

Meaningful beauty

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered this in 2016 January. I received my package and was interested in trying this product but as soon as you discover you are being charged triple 39.95 x3. I cant afford to be in a subscription so i cancelled. I knew i had to change my debit card or report it lost or stolen so they dont charge me anymore. I rather purchase products over the counter. False advertisement is the norm for tv infommercials.

Customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered a start up kit again and it took forever for the kit to arrive so I called customer service. The phone connection was terrible. I tried another number and when I could finally hear someone they kept giving me the run around. I got so frustrated that I said just cancell my order. They said that I couldn't as it was in the warehouse and I should wait until it arrives .In the process I tried to get on the website and they cancelled my future orders and would not let me back on the website. I called again and got another run around. They said i could order thru them and they would send me a temp password in 24-48 hours. I waited and waited for 36hrs and nothing. I called again and got the same run around. Give it another 24-48 hrs and you will get a email with the temp password. Again nothing in 48hrs. What is taking someone so long to just let me back on thier website. This is a terrible way to do business. Please get someone on your phones who speak english.
