Charged for Product I returned: shipped product after I had cancelled twice | Meaningful Beauty review from Cleveland, Ohio

I am not complaining about the product. while it seems fine, I can't tell the difference between it and what is available at much more reasonable prices from my local drug store.. I am seriously complaining about the company that handles the shipping and billing. I cancelled the order. They shipped anyway. They billed me anyway.I cancelled again. They shipped again .I returned both shipments I received after the cancellation THEY SHIPPED AGAIN!I caught the mailman when he was delivering and I refused the shipment. I am still receiving a bill for $149,00 which I do not owe. I have called twice to tell me that, and this last time I was told they can't remove it because it is two months past the return date. I have no product to return. I asked how it served their bottom line to continue to bill me when I didn't owe it and wasn't going to pay it and he hung up on me. I did say ***, but that is the only cursing I did. and that was earlier when he told me it was in the computer so he couldn't remove it.

Very mad | Meaningful Beauty review from Toronto, Ontario

I wanted to try this product. I placed an order for trial not knowing that by making your order, you commit to a lifetime supply. So I called the company to let them know that I am cancelling the rest of the orders and that I will return the 2nd batch of product which was double the size of the original order. The person was accomodating and told me to return the product (me having to pay for shipment) and they will refund me the money and that my orders were cancelled. a few weeks later I got charged again!!!! I am so pissed!!! Companies like this should let people know about the commitments or that they should implement better return policies and procedures!!!!

RUDE, TOOK MONEY, NEVER GOT PRODUCT | Meaningful Beauty review from Washington, District Of Columbia

I saw the commercial. Bought the product. Upgraded to include a special promo. My card was charged $52.64. $46.65 for product and $5.99 for shipping on 12/14/2012. That same day I received an email confirmation. I was given and order number and order summary. The product never arrived.I called today, 1/7/2013 to find out when I should expect the product. They wanted my credit card number again. I gave it. They wanted my address. I gave it. They said I was not in their system. I said well, I have the Order number you emailed to me, would that help? They said, they do not use order numbers? What? Then why did Guthy-Renker LLC assign me an order number? The woman hung up on me.I called back in and this time a young man answered. He was kind. And he too confirmed that they do not use Order numbers. He also needed my CC number and my address. He wanted to confirm that I knew I was talking with Guth-Renker LLC. I read him the email I received from his company. He could not help me. He had no idea what to do.He put me on hold and never came back.STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!

Thieves! | Meaningful Beauty review from Pottsville, Pennsylvania

Okay, so I watched the commercial. It sounded good. I decided to try it because of the "guaranteed money back" promise. I ordered the product on September 19, 2012. I quickly found that I did not like it. One of the products smelled like dog food, seriously. I called and after a ridiculously long wait, I was finally able to speak to someone to cancel future orders. (I ended up calling the line that one uses to place an order instead of customer service because NO ONE was answering at customer service. I was on hold for AT LEAST half an hour before I tried the "place an order" line.) I sent the entire order back on October 9 to get my refund. I sent it back via the USPS, and tracked the shipment. They received it on October 11. On October 25, it was not showing as a refund on my credit card. I called and was told it would take FOUR TO SIX WEEKS to process the refund. Okay. On December 13, I called and was told that they had never received the items. I had to fax them proof that I had sent it back, so I did. On December 26, I called to see why the refund was still not showing up on my statement. I was told the refund went through on December 19, and that it could take a few days for it to show up. Well, here it is, January 7 - almost THREE MONTHS since I returned this ***. It is still not showing up on my statement. I called again, and they are telling me that now I have to fax them a copy of my statement to show that it has not gone through. I called my credit card company, and they checked it out. They said there was no transaction made. I am fed up. I am done. Cindy Crawford, I hope you are able to buy one of your kids a little something with the money you stole from me. Or maybe it will help keep Dr. Sebagh in melons. I don't know what you all will do with the $50, but judging from the other complaints, the money is adding up quickly for you. Cha ching. Cha ching. I just wish I'd donated this money to Easter Seals or another worthy cause instead of donating it to a supermodel and doctor. Live and learn. I am just too annoyed to deal with this anymore. I am letting the $50 go, and letting my anger go. Deep breath.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO | Meaningful Beauty review from Lakewood, California

charged my account for 79.00 dollars for pills only two weeks after the first "free offer", called several times to ask for my money to be refunded into my account, talked to several different "supervisors" by the way they give you names and ID numbers for nothing because you can't never find them again, since they are everywhere in the states, never had a straight answer, they don't know what they are doing, they said I was going to be contacted by the "billing department" since they have no direct number, never happened!..had to call back again and again, after a couple of months finally got "some" of the money back, got tired of dealing with them, cancelled the order, want nothing to do with THEM, by far the worst experience and the most wasted time of my life...sooo not worth it..

I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. I GOT CAUGHT ON THE SAME TYPE OF SCAM WITH ANOTHER SKIN COMPANY OVER THE INTERNET.

IT COST ME 2 SHIPMENTS OF OVER $100.00 AND TOOK ME SEVERAL CALLS TO MY CREDIT CARD CO. PLUS THEIR CO. BEFORE IT GOT STOPPED. THE CREDIT CARD CO.

SAID THEY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THESE SCAMS ALL THE TIME BECAUSE THESE COMPANIES HIDE THE TERMS IN VERY FINE PRINT THAT MOST PEOPLE MISS.

IT SURE MAKES YOU SHY OF EVER USING A CREDIT CARD AGAIN. :sigh

Non-delivery of product. | Meaningful Beauty review from Grover, Missouri

I ordered the 'Cindy Crawford' 'meaningful beauty' package for my daughter for Christmas. I paid the extra money on 12-16-12 for delivery. The product never came. I called customer service on 1-05-13 and spoke with the rudest rep on earth Sophia. Received an email with a UPS tracking link with no number. Sophia says, they ship ups to the local USPS. What? Never mind. It's Jan. 5, 2013 & still no product. After all that, have to contact my credit card to get my money back. Time on phone with Sophia, & daughter still doesn't have Christmas present. I'm sick. What's in order here? Venting. Will twitter, and use my clout.

You know even when you try to report a scam it becomes a scam because when I tried to report one I was told I would have to pay a membership fee to sign up of something like $9.00 per month. Is there no way of stopping this garbage without so much hassle???? :( :cry :(

Cannot get them to stop shipping and charging for products | Meaningful Beauty review from Saint Paul, Minnesota

I ordered the products in October. The product broke my face out so in November I called and cancelled the product. my husband was diagnosis with throat cancer, we had to leave Mobile, Al and go to Houston Texas for treatment at M D Anderson. This company is overdrafting my bank account for products I have not seem nor order. I have called several times, been disconnected several times. i have e-mail them ( was a trip from ***). I tried to report them to the Better Business Bureau, could not find a good address, since there are 3 listed on the invoice. What can I do... I am in a different state and getting no help from the company. They should be closed down for fraud. You can't just keep taking people money for products that you cannot use....

Meaningfull Beauty | Meaningful Beauty review from New Windsor, New York

I order the trial 30 days..ok...the full sizes came on the second order, what I thought was a 60 day supply.. I added to the third order, and the final shipment came with the next delivery day of 90 days. I called and explained it didn't seem correct, and the response was, YOU CAN ORDER MORE. I cancelled, and let them know it was inconsistent for the quantity of product. In addition, the billing was also inconsistent. I like some of the products, but found some to be less effective. The price doesn't justify the service or products.

Meaningful Beauty is not what it seems.

I ordered this product in November for what I thought was a 30 day supply for a total of $46.65. I was told I would be charged that price every month for a new supply. It took about 3 weeks for the product to arrive. In December I was being charged again and I wasn't even close to being finished with the first order. I decided to cancel and that's when I got a little surprise. I was told I had to first pay a balance of $46.65. I didn't understand why I had a balance when I was just charged and hadn't even received the order yet. I was told that my initial order was a 90 day supply and my payment of $139 and change was being broken up into 3 payments...SHOCKER. I never had that conversation when I first placed my order. I was ordering it because I was given the impression that there was a special going on for $39.95. They were very MISLEADING. Apparently the only way for me to now cancel and be refunded is to send my supply back. The customer service rep I spoke to was not exactly what I would describe as polite, after giving me the return address he hung up the phone before I even got a chance to end the conversation. I will be sending the product back immediately and hope they honor their 60 day money back guarantee. The lesson learned here is, having a big name celebrity behind a product/company doesn't mean it's any good. BEWARE OF MEANINGFUL BEAUTY.

i know how all this works if you want my help....... But i will give some ideas on this cause people are not understanding what is going on when you get your 3 month supply say you get it on Saturday you call them Monday and tell them that you don't want them to send you anything else ok..

say you buy 197 dollars worth of Meaningful Beauty and you order over the phone that is the best way to buy your product what happens is they will tell you on the phone how much it will cost you a month for your 3 monthly installments of 64.00 even that is just an idea of what your monthly bill will be.... for here's an idea say you bought 2 kits and it cost you 115.47 out right for 5 piece set then you turned around and bought a 197 dollar kit with 8 pieces in it now you are paying about 64.00 or 65.00 even every month for the net 3 months it also goes by how much one item cost and if your not a member if your a member you get the member price if not a member then you pay full price and that will cost a lot more then what you had wanted to pay but know matter what you buy you still have a 3 month billing cycle third month by the 3rd week in that 3rd month they will send out your next kit........( IF YOU DO NOT CALL THEM AND TELL THEM......

NOT TO SEND YOU ANYTHING ELSE ) it is very easy once you get the hang of the 3 month billing cycle trust me I'VE been there this is why I am trying to help someone else out........ I hope i was some help Jennn i hope you have a good rest of the day

This is exactly what happened to me and in fact just got off the phone with them. The advertisement does not state you will be billed in three installments of $39.95, I was under the impression every month you get a package plus your monthly rate of $39.95 if you want to continue to purchase the products and cancel when you like. This has me very aggravated and I will not purchase from them anymore!!
